Next Gen modular nuclear reactors.

Nothing with old Pressure Vessels should be allowed.

Those need to get retired soon.

We also need Molten Salt Reactors that can ingest old nuclear waste and turn old nuclear waste with Half-Life's of Millions of Years to 300 years.

That's the main benefit of Thorium based Molten Salt Reactors.

It's a good way to manage existing Nuclear Waste that have Million Year Half-Lifes.

Also gets you lots of power and solves a big issue that we have in terms of existing Nuclear Waste.

It should have been everywhere by now if not for the propaganda and fear generated in regards to its dangers over the course of decades.

Most people think nuclear reactors are generally radioactive bombs ready to go off at a moment's notice and turn earth into mad max or fallout at the drop of a hat.

Any green policy that doesn't seriously involve ramping up nuclear is a joke not to be taken seriously.

there needs to be more research and more development into Thorium reactors, if everything i've read and heard about them is true. supposedly they would be incapable of going critical and creating the kind of chain reaction that causes meltdowns. so they have the potential to make nuclear energy much safer, and nuclear energy in general has the potential to be the cleanest and most efficient form of energy we know how to make, even moreso than renewable energies.
To many Hippies & Environmentalists are against it with Blind Seething Rage.

We needed more nuclear yesterday. That combined with renewables should be how we power the country.

It's stupid. Nuclear bombs almost destroyed the world and trying to hatnes that energy is suicide

You wouldn't run your house off of bullet energy would you?

I don't think the US is responsible enough for nuclear energy.
I don't even want to entertain the idea of the US handling aa Chernobyl or Fukushima style crisis.

We might as well go back to being cavemen if we're worried about whether or not human beings are smart enough to handle technological advancement.
