I think this is far more likely, especially given that, like I said before, Demon's Souls as an IP is quite literally Sony's property.

That, or the other alternative is that it launches first on PS5 and then later on PC. And they just announced it weirdly.

No, they literally own the IP. That's actually been the problem for From Software.

In fact, Sony's biggest mistake with DS was refusing to publish their own game in the US (Atlus published it, despite the fact that Sony already localized the game in English)

Honestly, nobody should've actually thought Demon's Souls would come to Xbox. It made about as much sense as saying Halo Infinite will come to PS5.

Sony wouldn't take a relatively hot IP and put it on a competitor's system.

Even if it would come to a MS platform, Xbox would be last.

Order of Exclusivity / Release:
PS5 / PC / Switch / XSS
Exclusivity: 1 yr / 1 yr / 1 yr

No reason to rush it onto XSS, realistically, it could take potentially 3 years after PS5 launch before XSS gets it.

That would make the most sense IMO.

Nobody is mad. Sony have been porting several games to PC and are notoriously unclear about stuff that will be ported. Doesn't hurt to wait to make sure.

I wasn't necessarily calling you out just the PC fanboys in general. And really two games(actual Sony produced games)being ported to PC isn't really a trend.

There's at least 6 in the last year or two. Pretty sure there's more.

And this isn't coming from nowhere. This is from a disclaimer they randomly added and removed from a trailer. Out of everything announced for the PS5 so far Demon's Souls is probably the most likely to get a PC port.

Yep. They also recently mentioned that they were looking into releasing more titles on PC.
