Holy shit.

I get a quest to take care of 3 Cobras for a few days. All good, I had some Kibble to feed them, treated them for the Plague, all's good. Couple hours until Shuttle arrived to pick them up, a Dry Thunderstorm goes off, and a lightning bolt killed one of the damn snakes. ONE OF THE SMALLEST ANIMALS IN THE GAME GOT HIT BY THE FIRST LIGHTNING BOLT THAT WENT OFF.

Quest failed, -10 points to Exodus Empire, and missed getting the Count title for my most advanced colonist.

I've played plenty of roguelikes, sims and RTS games, but nothing comes close to the unfairness that is Rimworld. Yet for some reason, I can't stop playing. 768 hours on Steam and counting.
