SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0; I have multiple sticks of this type and have never had any problems with the other ones
The first thing I did to format it back to device defaults (not quick format). This didn't change anything The USB 3 ports definitely work, I've tried them out with other things It's not the end of the world if this doesn't work "properly", but I'm curious what it could be caused by --- teep dumb as f*** fr - BatmanvonDoom I'm gonna pound a 400 lb woman just to prove teep wrong - NigerianKnight ... Only thing I can think of is damaged hardware or firmware on the flash drive. That's weird, though.

When it happened to me my ports did work and produce power - they just didn't transmit any info to my pc

I'm still thinking the drive is damaged. I'd try it in a USB3 port on a different computer. If you still only get USB2 speeds, that'll confirm it.

If the stick is usb3, but only works on usb2 ports, it's a hardware problem. At least one of the "extra" pins is faulty.
