I heard a horn being honked and turned to see two cars at an intersection. The first car wasn't moving, the driver was Black. (Yes, race factors into the story.) The second car had a driver who was a military-looking White dude in a black shirt. The guy in the second car was yelling at the guy in the first car -- I couldn't hear what was said. The guy in the first car is looking back with a smile on his face like he's enjoying seeing the guy in the second car get mad.
Finally, the guy in the first car pulls forward to allow oncoming traffic through. When the guy in the second car gets a chance to move, he does a fucking Hitler salute out the window. I don't know how the conflict started, I couldn't hear anything that was being spoken, but the dude in the second car was absolutely fucked up for doing that. I wouldn't be surprised if his shouts were laden with racial epithets. I've never been more on the side of the person holding up traffic as opposed to the person being held up. For the record, someone was shot at that same intersection a year ago. I heard the shots take place, but didn't see what happened. Later that night, there was a news report about the shooting. The victim managed to drive himself to the gas station and call the police from there.
I have no idea how that situation turned out, but it started over one of the drivers cutting the other driver off. --- 2020 going to be a CE kind of year ~ Panthera ... Copied to Clipboard!
