Started playing it on the Super NES mini and I hate it.
Controls are slippery and shit, the level design is tedious and it just feels like I'm blowing up every single wall to find shit, too much backtracking, not much atmosphere despite everyone saying otherwise, and the shoulder buttons to aim up and down just feel like a mess. Every fight feels clumsy and shitty. And it's not like I just suck at old games. I love old shitty outdated games like Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia, Resident Evil but this one's a turd. Shame because I wanted to like it because I like every other SNES nintendo game like Mario and Zelda. --- "A human destiny, but nothing human inside..... What will be left of me when I`m dead?... I recall playing it a long time back. Really loved the visuals and sound, though I wish there was a better illustration of the infinitely fascinating wrecked ship than was in the game manual. Anyhow, I burned myself out by obsessively finding and collecting each and every missile upgrade. Perhaps some day I'll get a chance to play the game again and just try to enjoy it.
