Yes, lower AC = better defense. It's weird lol took me like restarting the game several tries before I learned that.

Your "AB" as it was called in later additions. Your to hit roll, basically, on the character sheet. Used for melee/ranged.

So here's an update. Rishav joined my party, along with Minsk. We've been in the mines slaying kobolds. This game is hard. As. Fuck.

I'm really enjoying it. I like the mysterious old man who was testing if I was trusting. I made enemies with some hobgoblins as well. Jaheera and Khaled approve of my choices thus far

I haven't met her yet. Maybe when I feel less pressed for time in game I'll grab dorn

Neera (or wild mages) are great fun, if you're okay with occasionally summoning a demon on yourself or wiping your own party/destroying your gold etc.

Dorn is good if you're doing an evil/edgy party, being an evil git himself.

neera and rassad are kind of trash in BG1, both better in BG2.

Dorn is good if you don't use Minsc, but you prob don't need both.
