It's looking like my grandma on my dad's side probably won't make it through the weekend.

Never lost a friend or family member until all this. Not sure how to feell except fuck the buzzards on my dad's side. Complete assholes trying to pick and choose what they want from the house. I'm glad they're 2000 miles away

Well, my grandpa I didn't really know very well and he has been losing his mind for a while now. My uncle really hit me because he was only 54. My grandma I know quite well and she was having the same problem as the grandpa.

Sorry about your losses TC. Over the course of two years, I lost my cousin (suicide), brother (pneumonia), best friend (infection), girlfriend (cancer), and the same cousin's sister (bacterial infection). I wish I could say it gets easier, but it really doesnt.

I dunno if this is morbid or not, but I'm 33 and at their age, I knew my relatives would start dropping like flies.

I know I don't know you too well and i'm here if you want to vent. I lost my brother, my dad, and my grandfather who I looked up to more than anyone in my life in a span of 4 months and i'm surprised I made it through. Unexpected loss is tragic and traumatizing. I've lost all of my grandparents and basically 90% of my family at this point, and if it wasn't for my wife, I don't know where i'd be. Death is part of life I guess, and it comes in troves. I think the agony helps us understand love, and what people mean to us in our lives, but you grow beyond it and push through eventually. A lot of the pain is always there but you figure out a way to function around it. It's what makes us human.

I'm sorry for what you have lost, stay strong and keep moving ahead.
