Why is it all gritty? I was expecting something goofy and fun like the cartoon or the 2001 version but I'm instantly getting The Boys vibes. Which is interesting because Amazon would later turn that into a show too...

peter serafinowicz is great as the sarcastic brit, but what is he doing playing the american goofy Tick? Feels like a bizarre casting choice. Now Patrick Warburton, that was a perfect casting choice.

Gonna give it a chance though and see where it leads

I enjoyed it. It's a little gruesome in parts but overall had a goofy vibe to it. Serafinowicz is great as the Tick.

A lot of it is supposed to be comedic. Characters like Edgelord and the Deathstroke rip off are supposed to be parody.

Anyway, season 2 gets more into the goofy fun of The Tick. I liked it a lot better.

Also, yes. Dot is cute af.
