My brother and I caught a show last week on Unimas called Guerreros 2020 because there wasnt anything else on worth watching. Im not sure what the concept is supposed to be, but it was bizarre enough to warrant watching the full two hours. Its sort of like American Gladiators mixed with wacky gameshow hijinx, and it looks like the set is in someones backyard.
And the weird thing is, it works. Neither of us speak Spanish, but the competing teams have their own victory dances, costumed mascots, and hashtags on Twitter, and its really infectious. The games feel like a knockoff of better shows, but its compelling television. Has anyone else seen this show? ... Copied to Clipboard!

On viewing a second episode, it looks like a studio lot. It was bigger than I remembered.
