When it first came out, I was worried that it would end up replacing Vanilla Coke in stores. But ol Vanilla is still standing, and that orange junk is nowhere to be found. God bless.

I don't think it was meant to be a year-round mainstay. They introduced it to the market, it sold well, and now they can do it again same time next year I think
