Currently have two paper notebook journals [for writing and sketching] in addition to my laptop journal [for typing].

I'm unsure how this new method will benefit me, but I'm giving it a try just cuz. Does anyone else make recordings?

Yes, mostly for music ideas though.. not for paper ideas I've written down

I'll maybe sing or hum a part and say in the audio that it's the intro and x part repeats two times and how it might segway to the next bit

I rap and beatbox on recordings, but often delete them. That's my main worry about the audio journal. Shit i set fire to my old written journals if I find them cringey enough.
