For whom the Taco Bell tolls...







I loved Taco Bell growing up and it holds nostalgia for me, but I've been going far less often in recent years because of their revolving-door menu. I think the Menu Massacre of 2020 finally killed my interest altogether. Salsarita's is sounding awfully good instead.

They will get less of my business. Thankfully my normal items (chalupa, 5-layer) are still on the menu but the loss of potatoes as a sub have made my vegetarian substitutions materially worse.

Unfortunately, they are one of the very few vegetarian friendly fast food joints (even after the cuts) and I still love Chalupa's so they won't lose me entirely.

I used to eat tbell every day. Lost weight and that tapered off to a couple times a month. They're dead to me now. Fuck em. Stupid-ass business

Once upon a time I probably had Taco Bell once or twice a week. :O

I get fast food far less often these days, though, probably only have Taco Bell a handful of times a year as it is. So it may not be a huge impact, just because I go rarely as it is, but they are getting rid of some stuff I like so that sucks. My daughter is picky and the fiesta potato thing was one of few things she liked from there.

I don't go there much anymore. Used to get Cheesy Potato Burritos or potato grillers of some kind. That's it. If those are gone I have no reason to go back.

That's because hard shelled tacos were created in the US. It's not authentic Mexican food.

I'll still go occasionally I'm sure, hopefully the new chicken chipotle melt is good, but they got rid of four of my top five items in the last round so the amount I've gone has already nosedived and they got rid of the fifth one in this round. It used to be my top fast food pick and I'd get some at least a couple of times a month.
