I watched all of it up till season 20 when it was airing on TV. But my memory of the earlier seasons (1-5) is pretty foggy

Im loving it though, the dialogue is so great and surprisingly touching

I didnt know there was an episode where Seymour dates Patty (instead of Selma, who deeply wanted a husband). He calls her patty-cake and she says my sweet prince-ipal and its so cute

And then Abe Simpsons falls in love with Bea, who quickly passes away. She visits him as a ghost while hes on a roller coaster and he asks her how death is like, and she replies not as scary as this! as they drop down the hill. I specifically remember this scene as a kid, and I remember it relieved my fears of death, at the time

I dunno, its those little touches that are making me fall in love with the show again

Just finished the episode about Lisas substitute teacher. It brought me to tears, wow.

and this quote stood out to me: Thats the problem with being middle class, anybody who really cares will abandon you for those who need it more.

wow.
