I have no issues with the characters or the female roles the incels grouse about.

But over 3 movies nothing of any weight happened. No death had any meaning.

the bad guys were arriving and they ... fought them at some point
and ... things were resolved

...at least everyone made an appearance as an old person!

The Sequel Trilogy are basically just popcorn flicks. Story is ridiculous, wasted character potential, no cohesion...but hey at least the visuals are cool.

If they actually went through with killing off Chewy I would've been simultaneously impressed that they actually did it and mad that yet another legacy character was killed off.

He had a way cooler death in a non-canon Legends book where he saves Hans son from a planet thats in the middle of exploding.
