It's pretty obvious he's Dr.No with all the Asian styling of his lair and them filming inJamaica. The flying submarine thing is probably going into a volcano too.

I would be surprised if the villain is Dr. No. EON has typically tried to steer away from the anti-Chinese sentiments of the early films.

To be honest, I don't really care what the Daniel Craig series does from here on out. He never should've been Bond and what they did with Blofeld was far more agonizing than any of the missteps in the Star Wars continuations.

A series should never go against the baseline appeal of what makes it popular. In Bond's case, he's a fun adventurer who sleeps with a lot of hot women. Having him brood and treat sexual encounters like an unwanted obligation just makes the character dull and dreary.

Casino Royale was fun back in the grimdark ages (2004-2012), when every character was practically mandated to have an edgy reboot, but that goes against the baseline appeal of Bond. He can be an antihero, but the appeal of the character is that he's a globetrotting playboy who sleeps with a bunch of attractive women and still beats the badguys. If we've gotten to the point where he can't be a suave smiling skirt-chaser, then the character really needs to be laid to rest.

I hope this is the last Bond movie under the current producers. I hope they sell the character or simply close up shop. Either option would be better than what we've got.
