Today is the first day of my new lease(had to sign in June. Since that time maintenance crew has become shit.) I am currently spending $1300 a month in rent, and just found put that my apartment complex is moving to some sort of low income housing. If this information wasn't disclosed, should that be a fair reason to get out of the lease?

There are plenty of other issues we have had, but during Covid I just figured it would be easiest to stay in this apartment.

I dont think you can break your lease for that.

You have to be able to prove that your dwelling is unlivable.

Just think. Now you're all set to hunt and kill to your heart's content.

It completely depends on your state laws. To be fair, I was paying 1.6k for a 1BR in Section 8 housing a couple years ago.
