Most of those breaches occur because the companies haven't secured their data properly which includes your password. Hexenherz 09/06/20 6:52:46 PM #20:	AFAIK the NordVPN breach was a weird one since it would have allowed a potential hacker real time access to encrypted traffic that might have given insight into what a person was looking at, but ultimately nothing of value was actually gained (i.e., they didn't lose a text file with everyone's usernames and passwords in it), and hackers wouldn't have been able to view any logs of past activity since they don't keep logs. I just don't like Nord because of their misleading pricing scheme on their website. I don't know if they still do it, but it used to be that every time you went there there was magically a specific amount of time left on their sale! (like, 9 hours 57 minutes and 42 seconds!). Just seemed dishonest to market it like that.
