Wondering what the long term health costs to society will be from this virus. How many future health issues are we in for since we know next to nothing about the long term consequences of this virus.
Even people who are not in risk groups should be worried because we just don't know enough and I wouldn't be surprised if in a couple of years time we see e.g. a significant increase in strokes, heart attacks or other cardiovascular events in perfectly healthy adults. And I cant even start to imagine what it may mean to people with chronic diseases and so on. Hell it seems the virus may even trigger T1 diabetes in kids, this is all really terrifying stuff.

Im glad you posted this.
My friend thats been working with Covid patients since it hit CA told me about this back in April. Its not news to front line workers.
There will be more news to come.
Trust me.
Everything shes told us ends up being news, 2-4 months later.
people that still believe its political or a hoax or anything other than a new, unknown virus are going to learn the hard way. Its almost a guarantee.
Here in CA, it was said that numbers are BEGINNING to go down and today, nearly everyone is walking around without a mask.
Get ready for surge 2 within the first wave...
