2015
I hadn't played a NFS title since Underground 2 until I played Heat. Was fun for what it was but then I decided to get 2015 on the cheap since I had heard it was also Underground-esque like Heat was. 2015 actually surprised me. Sure the live action cutscenes were cheesy and it didn't have as much cars or polish as Heat, but man did it feel great. Pretty much an unofficial underground 3. I loved that it had actual drift modes instead of...offroad in Heat which no one seems to care about lol. Also loved that the 86 is in it where it's missing from Heat. Only thing annoying was having to do the cops quests in order to advance the story since cops suck ass in the game (which I'm not complaining about) and taking a while to raise your heat level was annoying. --- ... Most Wanted (2005) and Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) are the pinnacle of the series imo.

Nfs3 hot pursuit and most wanted 2005. The hot pursuit remake was alright for a bit.
