Habit. Just getting used to life with a mask. Better safe than not. Its not as big of an inconvenience if you get one you like. When I find myself driving around for work I caught myself wearing them while driving just myself I just forget. I did get a couple of those face shields and just wear them around my neck and pull it up when I need to wear it so thats been nice

joggers are also going to be breathing more heavily so maybe they don't want to be huffing and puffing at anyone they may pass - car drivers could be picking up passengers, also it is easier to be wearing one already if you need to go inside a place that requires them

Because it's not comfortable to wear all the time You could say the same thing about a seatbelt. I used to put the top part of the seatbelt behind me because it bothered me so much. Cause there's a chance you'll run into someone else and you kinda want to avoid that. The only thing silly would be if you kept handling your mask on and off if you ran by someone.
