It's big, but it's not super "interactive" imo. But it does do a great job in giving the world a "sense of place."

Some areas you'll truck through, some areas have powerful enemies you need to level or gear up (or be very, very patient) to kil but you can always bypass until then. --- Since only from below can one better see the heights. https://imgur.com/OhZgm ... Pretty fucking massive. The scenery and atmosphere of the regions are diverse too so you get a true sense of travelling in the medieval ages, and not just for the sake of going from one quest location to another.
Example, swamp tropes: You enter a gloomy area and you're not strong enough to take on the enemies in the area, you can either risk grinding through it for EXP or take a detour.
