Gets bad during a heatwave and I feel like it takes forever to scrub it clean. I definitely do NOT want a tiled shower once I purchase a home.

I use CLR foam. bought a brush kit that attached to my drill so i dont have to manually scrub; works really well.

even the gf was impressed how clean the shower/tub were.

No, are those effective against the tile crevices? This is where it tends to build up.

look for a sticky cleaner that's got a high concentration of bleach, it'll stick to the surface and kill the mold. alternatively you can make a paste with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.

The only issue with bleach is that my bathroom is connected to the bedroom and there are no windows or other way to properly vent the bathroom.

I think this is the last heatwave we'll have experienced this season in WI, and I'm hoping to put a down payment on a house before the end of the year but in the meantime I'm here.

This post is full of truth.

CLR breaks away all that gunk and soap scum and working smart instead of hard is the way to go for this chore.

well try the hydrogen peroxide rout. it'll kill mold but its slower.
