It doesn't suck, it did well on reviews and sold really well majority of people liked it as well it's just internet dwellers that hate it and failed miserably to try and sabotage it

I mean duh, look how much Xbox Game Studios makes by having their games on 2 platforms on day 1. Gamers really need to realize using the metric of consoles sold is archaic. 115m PS4s sold and TLOU2 has sold 7m copies on a 5 year AAA budget.... the math isn't there.

If I can play bloodborne at 60+ frames I might do a 180 on it and actually like it. As it stands, the only reason I say it's good is because it's a souls clone. I do think it's the worst in the franchise by a lot

It ran marginally better on PS4 Pro with Boost Mode, but it absolutely deserved to have a true PS4 Pro patch for frame rate.

This is basically what everyone who isn't stuffed up Sony's ass has been saying the whole time. The only way to "win" is to make the most money. If that means putting out first party titles on other platforms them do it. The number of sold consoles doesn't mean anything if nobody is buying games since the profit margins on hardware is almost nothing.

The whole 'Sony only ported Horizon Zero Dawn to get PC gamers to buy a PS5!' theory never made sense to me. So yeah this is pretty inevitable. Remains to be seen what their business model is. But it's starting off awfully similar to when Microsoft dipped their toes with 360 to PC ports.

They play nice with PC. They didn't want to with Xbox and Switch since they're considered direct competition. They have eased on this though.

It wouldn't be unprecedented, since Nintendo has dabbled just a little bit in letting their IP go to other platforms like Android and iOS. A long time ago they had Mario "Edutainment" games on PC, like Mario's Time Machine and Mario Teaches Typing.

If Nintendo was smart, they would port "Breath of the Wild" to PC, maybe right before BotW 2 hits for Switch. It's one of the few games from Nintendo that would be a big hit with the PC gaming audience. They wouldn't even really need to do much, just provide the base game with the DLC, and offer a wide range of graphic options up to 4K resolution and 60fps.

Not only would they make a shit-ton of money from people playing the game for the first time and "double dippers", but they would generate a lot of hype for the sequel.

We all know this isn't going to happen though.

Nintendo won't do it anytime soon because they make profit on their hardware and their games have insane attach rates.

You are correct, but it's dumb.

Breath of the Wild has been out for, what, almost 4 years? A sequel is also in the works. What better time to do a surprise port to PC, while the game is STILL widely regarded as a masterpiece? Everyone who wants to play it on Switch already owns it. If they wait longer they would be letting their fruit "wither on the vine" so to speak. The amount of money they would make would be HUGE.

I could also see an enhanced port of the Metroid Prime trilogy doing very well on PC, but most Nintendo games should just stay on Nintendo consoles, I agree.

All I gathered from this for me to give a fuck about is getting Bloodborne on PC.
