Another Falcom game in the books. This one had been sitting around for like 2 years, but finally got around to it. Needing to take a break of constant Ys and Trails games, Falcom set out to take Cold Steel's personaish school system and create an actual Persona clone with a more actiony combat system. I enjoyed it for what it was. The school system works better in this type of game than it does in a series like Trails, but the actual gameplay felt a little slow at times and it's 100% a dungeon crawler so there was no feeling of going on a grand adventure like a Ys game.

The actual trophy list is basically lifted right out of a Cold Steel game. You gotta 100% complete all the battle info, friend lists, recipes, books, etc, bone all your classmates and teachers and finish the game twice since you need to unlock the hardest difficulty. This one had a fun thing call INFINITY MODE where you could set the enemies 60 levels higher than they normally would be so pairing that with calamity difficulty actually gave a Falcom game some challenge for once which was a welcome change. On top of that all 40 or so dungeons in the game had to be S-Ranked and there were a handful that were exclusive to NG+ so had to be mindful to watch out for those.

Final time was around 96 hours

I wouldn't mind another one of these in the future since they did leave it open for the possibility to do a sequel, but hopefully the gameplay is faster than it was this time around.
