(I am now a lot less busy than I was, so I should be able to keep threads alive more consistently) Result: "I don't like sand" was pretty far ahead last time I saw it, and I have no reason to believe that would have changed without another post bumping it back to the top. As bad as the "enhanced" Jabba scene was, it fit within the context of Jabba's character being an ostentatious ganglord.

Jedi Rocks is the worst fucking thing Ive seen in my life. For all the hate that Greedo shooting first got, Jedi Rocks was ten times worse.

The sentiment is nice and done another way it could maybe work (plus the rest of the movie doing more to build towards it). But in that context it was idiotic, considering Finn was trying to save everybody and it's a miracle everybody didn't die. I don't actually mind Jedi Rocks.
It really suffers from 90s cgi syndrome and the bad closeups. The music itself isn't all that egregious. Rose saving Finn is literally the moment when I gave up on the Sequel Trilogy. They had this fantastic moment all set up for Finn to heroically sacrifice himself, finally giving him some sense of purpose since his side quest in the movie was fucking bullshit and pointless, and then they cuck the entire goddamned audience with some bullshit ass "we can only win by saving what we love" Fuck outta here. --- The name is wackyteen for a reason.
