My dad is extremely racist. My mom? She's a bit racist, but nowhere near as bad as my dad is in that regard.

My parents weren't racist at all. My grandfather on the other hand, extremely racist. He owned a motel and would tell any non-white people it was full because he didn't want them staying there.

my mom isnt racist but she'll make comments that are racist and i call her out on them.

but she wouldnt actively treat someone worse because of their race. I think she grew up in a time where it was ok to say stuff like that

Only racist comment I remember my dad making was complaining about a group of people (all of the same color) being rowdy. Never heard my mom make any comments.

they have been racially insensitive at times but they are boomers. When I described conditions at a previous job, my mother felt like we were being treated kinda like slaves, but used an antiquated and offensive term. She also used to refer to Asian people as Oriental, but that wasn't considered unacceptable at the time. I remember personal info surveys in elementary school where "Oriental" was an option for race in place of Asian, back in the late 80s, early 90s.

They have certain opinions about white southerners which I fair;next since they grew up in the armpit of Mississippi in the 60s-80s, but otherwise nothing at all
