not too long ago I started a job as a software dev for fitness equipment

feels really rewarding working on something that is easily recognizable to many people, that I can point to and say I helped design this thing. Its also probably the closest I could get to being a game developer without actually working in the games industry which is neat

weve been working from home since March without missing a beat

before this I had been working in healthcare, fixing equipment and god damn am I glad I got out of that field before March

I stopped back in April and my friend is still running the route since he believes he pretty much immune to Covid

Ive been playing the stock market here and there to stay afloat. Ive actually made some pretty good bank and am considering not going back.

my wife and I used to go to 2-3 shows per week; now we havent been to one since March and its a real bummer

i feel for all the local musicians out there

Letter carrier, and I absolutely adore this job, it feels like I help a lot of people and I've met some other carriers that are really good friends now. Plus, if I didn't have this job I would never have met the woman I'm gonna get with.

Covid blew it up tho, volume has been outrageous and rn political mail is starting to roll in heavy too, so hours have been crazy but I'm making good money so idc, it is what it is.

editorial for a video streaming service. i enjoy it but changing jobs next month due to lack of progression and not great pay

we've been working from home since march, no immediate plans to change this although we'll be able to book in areas to work in the office if we need to collab or hold in person meetings. still down to us if we feel safe and comfortable to go in
