sure, but if i was gonna weaponize a virus it wouldn't have been a coronavirus. there are much better candidates.

anything is "possible" but I'm pretty sure the virus' genetic sequence indicates it formed naturally in animals

I think the Chinese had no idea wtf they were doing so they made a shit made virus. Their Biolab was given a bunch of warnings saying it didn't operate up to a level 4 biohazard lab a few times and they didn't give a fuck.

Within the realm of possibility, but don't see any evidence.

Based on current technology it is 100% possible.

it wouldn't surprise me if they were handling coronavirus samples, seeing that its been near the top of the list for potential pandemic virus for a long while. but i find it hard to believe they would intentionally 'breed' a highly virulent strain and bumble the containment to the level it would need to be bumbled to accidentally release it.

its not impossible though. and if it were any other country, except maybe russia, i'd expect whistle blowers from the facility or early containment would have come forward by now.

in the grand scheme of things though, it doesn't really matter. the chinese government is responsible for maintaining the breeding ground 'wet markets' where it likely originated or at least took root, and they bumbled the hell out of early containment and warning. but there's nothing to be gained by trying to push the idea they accidentally released the virus.

I agree China def screwed us all, whether by wet market incompetence, laboratory incompetence, or just neglected telling the world. They def screwed us

Far more likely if man made it escaped on accident.
