Television

I spent $1100 on my main TV but I can't imagine spending more than like $1500 on a TV unless I got a massive windfall of money and could splurge.

I spent $900 on one this year, and even then felt a bit guilty about doing so.

TVs get so much better and bigger every 2-3 years. Its honestly a waste spending anymore than $300.

Literally just bought a new tv. The first was $430 Roku. Sucked because of it being a faulty one. Made me over Roku's tho. Got a Vizio instead for $560 or something. Like it a lot more

I'd easily spend over $2,000 if the quality, performance, and size was justified.

My last tv purchase was an LG 55C6P and it was around $2,000. I have no regrets.

If you have the money and you spend lots of time using your tv, invest in something of quality.

Probably not more than 600. I haven't used something with particularly high quality so I'm sure I have sone ignorance.

Ignorance to quality is underrated. Literally everything balances out once you get accustom to it. You're gonna eventually end up feeling entitled to whatever quality you're use to. When I get a new tv, my qualifier is just that I don't want it to be worse than my last one. Anything else is a bonus.

Yeah I can attest to this.

I bought a $300 Bluetooth speaker over 4 years ago.

I bought a $60-80 (can't remember exact price) Bluetooth speaker earlier this year.

The $300 one still outclasses the cheaper one despite its age, and theyre from the same company.

When HD was first becoming a thing I spent $900 on a shitty one, it was Olevia brand. It burned out after 2 years.

I spent $500 on my current 55 inch 4k

TV's are getting cheaper and bigger. I'd still be willing to spend up to 2k for what I want but I dont see myself needing to buy one after I got a 70 inch 4K a few years back.

It's also how I live with all my stuff being shitty and not being torn up about it. I had a ps3 that I did a whole ritual for for months to get to play discs again.

It involved me going to my cold back hall and placing it upside down for 20 minutes. Then bringing it back upstairs and putting a disc in it at the perfect time. That allowed it to play the disc for one time until I shut it off again. In which it wouldn't work again unless I did my ritual. Like I said, I did that for months before just buying a new one.

I had a customer offer me their old TV for free after I did a cable installation (A 52 inch Sony Bravia that was like 10 years old but was a $3500 TV when it was new).

I was just moving into my new house so I took them up on it and Im still using it. Not a smart TV but thats what the Xbone is for

$3300 is what I spent on my 75 in, 4K HD TV a year ago... going to drop another $3K on another, too. Friends come over for UFC, sports games, etc., so that tells you how awesome it is lol.

I spent $875 on my last TV in 2017, which is 49" and 4K capable.

I'd spend $1000 to $1500 if I thought it was worth it.
