This story is very strange because Tory Lanez has only been charged with felony possession of a concealed weapon, and the DA of Los Angeles said they're "mulling over" escalating charges.
When the story first came out I was wondering why he was only charged with gun possession if he was letting off shots and actually hit Meg. I mean police claim they had initial reports from people in the neighborhood saying they heard gun shots so after they immediately arrested Tory I'm assuming they attempted to gather evidence about it, not just settle for the felony gun possession charge. State charges and investigations are independent of Meg's cooperation with police. They don't need her consent to charge him at all. Why after over a month since the shooting, has Tory not been charged with any other crimes? His court date is October 13. LAPD has had over a month to investigate, and still no additional charges. Do people not think the vehicle was searched at all after they just arrested someone on felony gun charges? Do people not realize the police are there in the hospital with the victims and can see if medical staff say the injuries were from gun shots or if there were bullet fragments? Meg admitted herself in that IG video that police were with her in the hospital hounding her as she received treatment. If the hospital confirmed for a fact Meg was injured as a result of gunshot wounds, the police know that. Whether she lied about it being glass or not is irrelevant. Do people not know how easy it is to prove when a weapon was recently fired? Do they not realize there would be shell casings in the car if he actually fired from the vehicle? A simple chemical test can find gunpowder residue on his hands/fingertips since he was taken into custody. Either LAPD completely botched this investigation and Tory Lanez is the luckiest motherf***er alive, or we aren't getting the full truth. --- Let go your earthly tether. Enter the void.
