His argument is that too many Skyrim fans are people that normally wouldnt like RPGs.

I dont understand this perspective at all. Should people only like the sorts of things that theyve liked since childhood? Shouldnt an RPG fan be happy that an RPG is getting recognition from a wider audience?

Then again, this is what happens when you base your entire personality on the type of media that you consume.
