There's a new documentary series on Netflix called "High Score", chronicling the early history of video games through the 1990's. It's narrated by the voice of Mario, Charles Martinet. Thought it was worth mentioning here. Comes out tomorrow, August 19th.

I watched Episode 1, it was ok.
The Space Invaders fan wasn't needed at all and only was made to fit their woke checklist.
The guy that invented video game cartridges though was cool, and his family talking about him, unlike the above example that was important to video game history.

I don't care for the animated parts and think they do it too much, kinda done in the same style as that toys/movies that made us, where it talks to us like we're children.
And it obviously is only going to lightly touch some topics.
Luckily there is plenty of other docs, videos that go indepth into the past of video games, G4's old ICONS eps and other stuff is out there.
