I know there are a FEW parents on CE, although I don't remember who they are.

You know, when I think back to my early days on CE, when everyone was basically a teenager and the whole concept of parenthood would've made most of the regulars laugh...time marches on, I guess.

I have a 7 year old daughter and an 8 year old soon to be step daughter.

It's great being a parent and the kids are great, they're bright, polite and well behaved.

The only issue I have is with my daughter's mother, we have deeply differing parenting styles. Mine is structure and rules and actually saying no to the child sometimes. Hers is no structure, no rules, no set bedtime, letting our daughter eat chocolate whenever she wants and basically treating her like a baby.

Pretty well. Its been difficult these past months for obvious reasons, but I never would have anticipated how well they are getting along despite it all.

They both have also come to realize the value of money, or at least that money can get them minecoins, so I can actually get an honest days work out of them.

have a 13 year old son. he's a good kid. extremely competitive and hard on himself which is tough to deal with at times. has a good creativity spark, but is a bit of a perfectionist which causes some self sabotage.

It's going pretty well. I have a 6-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter. We don't get to do as many fun things nowadays, but my kids have been home together since March, so now they're best friends. I'm definitely glad I have two so close in age.

It's going to get really hectic in a few weeks though. I'm not really sure how we're going to handle the online school schedule that's being thrown out there. I guess it's better than the alternative though.
