Junot Diaz.

Oscar Wao is a masterpiece, which I've read over twenty times...This is How You Lose Her is also great. It's just a REAL shame that he writes so slowly.

That's easy: it's Houellebecq. Nearly everyone else whose fiction I care to read or reread is dead. I do look forward to Tao Lin's upcoming Leave Society, though.

Oh, not his past fiction. I won't even read that stuff in translation as an excuse to give it a chance while getting in language practice. I liked his book about Terrance McKenna and drugs, though, and I think his Twitter is top notch with posts about diet, gardening, earthing, and so much more. Perhaps after stepping through Huxley's Doors of Perception, the next novel will be his Island.
