The last major Vita release here in 2020. Of course, since I decided to play this series in timeline order I still have the other two games to go through, but it's a nice game to end out the Vita's lifespan.

I talked about the game a bit in the post each time you beat a game topic, about how the game's story is top-notch and the strategy RPG half of the game isn't as developed as it could be. The bonus battle that unlocks after collecting all items makes it a little better in that regard - giving you all fifteen of your characters at 50 with relatively balanced stats (this is actually somewhat of a negative, given how you can develop your characters much better) and running through a gauntlet of facing every boss in the game (except the final boss). Some bosses lost their plot armor from their story battles, but it's still challenging and I got five of the characters KO'd in the end, but still passed the level. Besides that battle (and collecting all items to unlock it in the first place), the platinum just requires viewing all CGs and listening to all the music, which doesn't take much time to finish.

I'll definitely be moving on to Mask of Deception sometime, probably sooner rather than later. However, there's a lot of games coming out soon so who knows when that will be!
