Same for people who make "reproduction games". Oh cool you got a fake physical copy of Mother 3 with a fan translation installed, and neither the person who made the game nor the fan translators got anything. I am completely supportive of the original authors/companies etc. won't get anything because it hasn't been officially released in your region or went out of print or you just can't afford it arguments.
