As for Janice she appeared in every season as well, but was only in 20 episodes overall. You my grow to find some of the characters aggravating, but they change over time in some ways but not all. At first I didn't care for the show as my sister liked it, and back then any program she enjoyed cut into something I wanted to watch instead. It may appear a bit dated nowadays and although it was very groundbreaking at the time it may feel a bit unoriginal since its concept and a lot of the tropes it pioneered have been done by other shows that have come out since. It's definitely worth your time though. --- Not removing this until Mega Man 64 is released on the Wii Virtual Console.
