They've done an exceptional job of creating a world in which you're never quite sure if anything is real, including objects themselves. And you're also not sure who to trust, if anyone, including yourself.

I'm not very far in the game, but I'm starting to wonder if your own character is the one that's crazy. I've noticed the Typhon phantoms mumbling to themselves, which makes me wonder if they're not actually phantoms.

It's pretty rad. Very clever crafting. I'm glad I upgraded before installing. It really is a beautiful game.

I wanted to like that game so bad, loved the original. What killed it for me was like only 3 enemy types and a stalker type enemy that exists like the entire game

man, i need to play this. i keep deferring it because backlog.

I hated the guns and the enemies but I loved the story. I wish it had more serious combat instead of a pudding gun and bugs.

It took me 3 tries to get into the game and on the 3rd try I made sure not to play anything else and just kept pushing through. Towards the end theres a lot of backtracking BUT there's a lot the game does right. For example I love the display when reading emails and how it doesn't take you out of the game, its a minor thing but I wish more games would adopt that style instead of the "heres a memo, read it and go into a pause screen."

Be sure to invest in hacking. There are so many cool subplots to unravel in the emails.

Well I'm about 7 hours in, and this game really is amazing. Might actually be one of my all-time favorite games of this generation. Certainly the first game I've played in ages that I really want to read all of the extra documentation, the story is immensely complex and there's a lot of stuff I'm piecing together by reading emails.

I'm optimistic about a sequel. I think the game was decently successful, though not 100% sure. And there's a lot they can do with the universe they created.

I can definitely tell this game is gearing up to an M night shyamalan plot twist, especially with all the mentions about Morgan being interested in putting mirror cells into Typhons.

I want to play this, so I played the Prey on 360 just to see what the old one was like. The horror vibe is interesting but the gameplay is just too boring. I'll probably just move on to the modern one now.
