Let's say it's on the highway and the speed limit is 60. No posted speed limit. But they are doing something and blocking the left lane and holding a 'slow' sign.

How fast do you go? I usually slow down to like 40. But sometimes the sign holder gets visibly mad.

I'd go 15 if the sign said so. Most road construction posted speeds say 35 or 40 around here, so I figured it would be the same. 40 is very very slow for a 60mph zone.

I mean everyone has their own opinions as to what the subjective term slow means. When I see a guy driving 40 in a 60, my first thought is this person is driving slow.

If they need someone holding a sign instead of just the standard construction speed limit, I'm going to slow the 20s. As it means they are on the road without the concrete barriers.
