Current Events > i fucked up. rivel my cat suddenly go into heat

Last sunday 1 august i came to the vet for initial checkup and basic treatment like worm and fleas. The vet said she wants to avoid unexpected scenario so she said wait 1 week to see if she's healthy before first vaccinations. I said wait 2 weeks so she feels more comfortable with the house first.

Lo and behold, i came home from work she started rolling on the floor intensely. I called the vet, she said that's a sign of female cat in heat. They cannot spay her because she hadn't had vaccinations and while it's possible to so both she said it can be risky becuase the immune system will work double time (against the vaccine and healing the wound could create complications)

Now i have to deal with her being in heat and wait 2 weeks lol.

My ex had two cats that kept going into heat because she was not a super responsible pet owner and took forever to get them fixed and it was definitely a mild pain in the ass. Not a huge deal but, definitely annoying.
