BTW, why was I supposed to fight the AIDA stuff at Yata's Serpent of Lore in Vol. 1? That's the only thing I didn't do, so if it's important, I'll just abandon my current Vol. 2 stuff (only a little ways in) and redo it.

Yeah, you can replay AIDA battles at Yata's wall. I skipped it, but if it's important for something, I might go back and do it.

You get desktop backgrounds you can only get in their volume and then one final one upon completing them all. You don't get items or equipment though. If you do volume refights in volume 2 you just get GP.

As for if INFECTION, MUTATION, OUTBREAK, and QUARANTINE are worth playing, yes they are. The story in IMOQ is arguably better then G.U.'s. Plus you get to ride Grunties.

I'm already five hours in now, so I'm not resetting for backgrounds. I was wondering where the spare ones were, though, since there's a giant gap in the list. Hopefully there's no trophy for that stuff.

I like how biking in this volume is 100234234.5 times better than before. Now, you can actually steer properly and have fun riding around -- it used to feel like driving a bathtub. Gonna try these time trials to get good parts, too, since I already dropped 100K on stuff immediately (oops).

Riding the bike in large open fields, and even towns was such a great idea. Don't know why more RPGs don't implement it. The races were also really fun.

I haven't bothered riding around the fields much, but maybe I'll get in the habit for this volume. Already did some time trials stuff and got some bike gear.

It's whack how good paralysis is. It would've made the first volume even easier if it had been in initially. Gonna need some anti-paralysis armor later, too, I imagine, since it's way too good to be an ally-only option.

Welp, got through the second round of the new tournament. The leader was LV62, almost as high as Haseo, so I'm going to need to do some more powerlevelling for the next round, methinks. Looks like I'll have to do it with just Alkaid, though -- Atoli said she was going to a faraway hospital. =(

Beat Nala down in the arena and it looks like I'm gonna square off with that PK chick from the first game. Gonna grind a bit to LV70 or so, though. I've found some EXP+25% materials, so this might be easier than I anticipated.

These map that are just winding towers with barriers and "kill all monsters in the room lol" requirements...are trash. They don't have any of the fun navigation of other dungeon types.

Hmm, didn't know there was lag in the PS2 version, but it doesn't surprise me. That stuff should really be fixed in any modern remaster. Speaking of which, sometimes while going through Mac Anu -- perhaps just on motorcycle -- there's a brief loading screen. Not sure why that vestigial nonsense is still left in with all the other improvements, but maybe it couldn't be removed or something.

I can still watch channels and stuff, but there's a giant bar on the screen, so it's killed my interest to do PS4. Probably going to have to send it back to the manufacturer if I can (it's still under warranty, I think) or, failing that, tinker with it somehow using Youtube tutorials. =|
