Bought 5 pairs. My feet are horrible. Heres hoping they dont suck.

350 on 5 pairs of shoes is your problem. How do you expect quality if you wouldnt pay for it? If your priority is comfort, I suggest wolf and shepherd

thanks, they are actually super comfortable. i like my crocs but mostly because of the lavender color and the jibbitz are sooo cute. they had a boba tea one and thats like my favorite drink to ever exist
i hate my pointe shoes though. theyre the worst ever. they hurt. i havent worn them in a while since quarantine so they probably dont fit well

Hopefully they're comfortable and last. I don't think I'll have to impress anyone with my shoes any time soon, at this point; I'm just going to stick with my Allbirds for the occasional outing until they start going bald.

yup! if theyre comfortable thats good! style is good if thats what youre going for but comfort is super important.

Mhm. These lasted an entire year in the South Bay, doing field work, and they still refuse to die. I've walked three four-day conventions in them and not once felt sore.

I'll save my good boots for when it starts feeling like fall.

thats great! i have this pair of sneakers that have lasted for a year so far. my foot hasnt grown much so they still fit well.

Tree Runners here too, at least if I know I'm going to be walking a bunch. I have a pair of Wool Loungers for quick trips or to double as slippers.

Nikes, ASICs and brooks. My current pair have a massive hole and are falling apart. My other pair aren';t comfy to wear work.

I wouldnt be caught dead paying only 350 for a pair of shoes (they're probably only Blake stitched with corrected grain leather at that price point) let alone 5 pairs for that total

My feet overheat easily, I can't handle the shaft of boots. And I dont wear/own socks so the shaft irritates my sensitive ankles. I live in CA so its not weather necessary to have boots

But boots are also susceptible to material quality and construction price points

for me, yes. i dont have a job so im saving up for them with bday money and the allowance i get from my grandparents every once in a while. i dont get allowance at all from my parents.

This is true, but a good pair of Goodyear welted Red Wings generally run under $200 and last for many, many years.

Then again, I also appreciate forms and materials that look better and build character the more wear they show.

ive got really strong ankles and legs from years of dance. feet pain is nonexistent for me. thats why running is so easy, im used to foot cramps and foot pain so its basically nothing.

I don't get it. How? I'm sorry I dont buy cheap Walmart shoes. But, my feet hurt very bad and i work 13 hour minimum shifts.

Honestly for sneakers, Puma are the most comfortable out of the box imo. I have 14 pairs of shoes, but I definitely need to replace a few and get rid of some that I don't wear. I heavily rotate 5 of my pairs and try to wear each pair less than 3 times a week and ideally, no more than 2 times.
