I like to imagine that this 100-year-old ship would still be sailing the seas if it hadn't hit that iceberg. The thing was the most luxurious ship at the time; I have a hard time believing they would simply reduce a piece of history to scrap metal like that. Do you think it would still be around, even if more functional ships were developed later on?

Many ships get scrapped or scuttled, whether they're historical or not. They can't all be the USS Constitution, haha.

The Titanic's sister ship, Olympic, was scrapped during the Great Depression. At the very most, Titanic might be a museum ship of some kind today. No way it would still be operating.
