Basically, its a deep-dive style podcast where each episode we pick a food and dissect its origins and history in comedic fashion. Despite it going over history, it's got a light-hearted tone, since we're pitching it more as comedy/entertainment than education. (I do local standup comedy IRL, and straight food history would be a really boring niche topic to focus on solely.) Anyone interested in checking it out? We actually started doing food blog stuff for fun like 7 years ago and had moderate success, did some local festivals and stuff, but fell off of it after a while. Like, the way we write it, she adds quips that she wants to read to add in her two cents, and those are super few and far between. So we then take other parts of the script and just give them to her so she's talking more than like once every 10 minutes lol. My best friend, and the inspiration of my username, hosts an AM talk radio show every Friday for 2 hours that airs in NY, LA, and MS and he's been doing it for 12 years, about the paranormal, ufos, cryptids, etc. and he interviews experiencees, television personalities and authors, and has a lot of his original material that he makes a show out of. It's like Coast to Coast AM lite with Art Bell if you are familiar with that at all.
