iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/another-eden/id1439565347 not a fan of the character models / art style but im a little intrigued. the similarities to CT are definitely strong ("a journey through past, present and future", humanoid frog character). the music sounds cool. not sure what the in-app purchases are about tho --- Playing: Doom Eternal; Rocket League; Streets of Rage 4 You see it your way, I'll see it mine and I'll be fine ... i hate mobile gaming, but my PC is out of commission until a replacement mobo i ordered gets here from China anytime between next week and next month, and i've been looking for something to play until then, so i suppose i might as well check this out, since Chrono Trigger is probably my favorite game of all time. i generally dislike mobile gaming mostly because touch screen controls are wack, especially if it's using one of those virtual / on-screen d-pads or joysticks. i hate not being able to feel the buttons. i recently bought Chrono Trigger for Android b/c it's on sale for $5 and it has this new thing (new to me) where the it has a virtual joystick but the position isn't fixed -- it shows up wherever you put your thumb. that's sorta OK but i still find myself 'slipping' off it b/c i can't tell where it actually is. that said, gamepad support is a thing and if a game supports a controller/gamepad i dont mind playing it on mobile much at all. did some research and found this
https://www.androidauthority.com/another-eden-review-949710/ yes, it is a "gacha" game but Now for the elephant in the room: microtransactions. Im happy to report that Another Eden is the least aggressively monetized free mobile game Ive played in a long time. Maybe ever. The truth is that Another Eden is a JRPG with gacha elements, rather than a true gacha game. --- Playing: Doom Eternal; Rocket League; Streets of Rage 4 You see it your way, I'll see it mine and I'll be fine ... Is it a gacha? Yes but unlike other gachas it's basically a single player game so there's no real need to buy any of them. --- It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha." https://imgur.com/dQgC4kv ... Copied to Clipboard!

It's a Gacha but the persona collab characters can carry you and you can also grind for alt forms and other freebies who are viable
I played it for a good while but spent all my currency on this one hyped unit's banner, didn't get her so I quit. It was the final straw but I had actually been getting bored of it for a while but it was certainly a fun game for a good amount of time. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
