This. One of the main causes of a hangover is dehydration from the alcohol. You need to make sure you drink water while drinking alcohol if you want to avoid hangovers in the future.

Covid work from home/unemployed situations have really enabled the drinkers of the world.

Seems like you are unable to be both drunk and functional at the same time. From your previous drinking topics, it seems like you're the train wreck type of drinker. Should really reel that in a bit man. Why burn out when you can slowly fade away while drunk?

as someone who spent about 3 years of my life drunk .... it fucking sucks dude. the longer you do it the worse it gets. every day i felt stuck in a cycle of waking up feeling like death, suffering through withdrawal all day at work while i somehow managed to not get fired only to start drinking the moment my shift ended. the very thing responsible for my perpetual misery was the only thing that made me feel better. i finally snapped out of it and i haven't had a drink in almost 10 years and i feel so. much. better. it's not too late to get yourself out of this.

Drink ONE beer for the short game, then while that's still doing it's thing drink a bunch of water and eat something.

The beer will also give you electrolytes to help you absorb the water, and the food will help coat the inside of your stomach so any alcohol you do choose to ingest later won't be hitting an empty pit.

I would recommend making that initial beer the only beer you consume today, but you do you homie.
