Eh the next several years are going to include several Democratic picks and the GOP messing around with SCOTUS has made court packing a thing Democrats will likely consider in the future.

So yes, I'm sure for now this seems a good thing, but long term I really don't think conservatives are going to like the fact that they let this genie out of the bottle

Honestly? The only one I know for a fact is that he sent help to Puerto Rico after hurricane Maria, he sent water, food, medicine, clothes, etc....they never went to get it because Trump sent it....I don't remember if Jorge Ramos or someone else from Univision, Telemundo or Galavision asked him why he didn't want to help Puerto Rico and he responded he did. He just never made it public something about unsung success. The journalist kept saying they hadn't received any type of help from the US he said they did and dropped it at that. A year later we get footage that they had about 20 thousand pallets of water and other stuff lying in the sun just wasted materials that they never went to pick up.

If you're in a death bed and only have one lung left and the only person who can donate to you is Trump and he decides to give one of his lungs would you take it or just die? The leader/president decided on death over accepting help from Trump.

I think he knew they didn't take the help and was too embarrassed to say he was rejected which is why he never made it public but the fact that the materials are on Puerto Rico untouched means he wasn't lying about the help he sent. They both point the finger at each other but in this case one side was there for sure and the proof is the materials laying there the others have no proof to back up the claim they're making.

The reason I responded it this topic late is because I was busy and that's our tax dollars being wasted on ungrateful people and while it might not be a lot for millions of people those materials could have at least helped a city here in the states. These materials could have helped Australia when it was recovering after the fire that went for weeks or even here in the states when Covid started and now recently with the explosion in Beirut. That's more extra materials they could have received.

Do you have a source for him sending supplies and them not being used specifically because they were sent by him?

Agreed. The requirement to have health insurance literally cost me many thousands of dollars, and Donald Trump quickly removed that requirement and the fines that were given if you didn't have it, saving me thousands of dollars. Thank you for that, Donald Trump.
