Is this scenario still defined as "Wind?"

Its late at night and a random thought popped into my head. We know what wind is. We stand outside, air hits us at any speed, then we have wind. Easy. Here is my question...

Lets say there is a day when there is no wind at all. No gusts as well. Completely calm. If you are driving down the highway, roll down your window and stick your hand out.... Can that air you are feeling be correctly defined as wind?

In the context of your question, I have no idea, but I have always referred to it as wind.

If wind is defined as a natural phenomenon.
At that point, you are just experiencing the friction caused by your moving car. Such as the friction between your tires and the road.

The better question is, is there such thing as sound? That to is just moving air.

I would, since it's an airflow

Yes. Wind is created by the friction of the moving vehicle and your hand which is also moving.

Wind is pressurized atmospheric currents. What you are experiencing when you stick your hand out the window is just air friction.

This is why I asked the question. There seems to be conflicting opinions on this

An individual moving through a relatively still air mass can feel friction with that air, but that is not wind. Wind is an air mass movement or "flow" that can be felt as friction with that air.

Thought experiment:
If you are in an air mass and you move at the same speed and direction as it's flow, it will feel like relatively still air.

I guess that makes sense. Its like driving a car at.. I dont know.. 100 mph. You drop a ball in the car going that fast and the ball drops straight down from your perspective inside the car because

A. The ball is moving the same speed as the car at 100 mph

B. There is no air resistance

It makes sense. It was something I was thinking about when my niece a few days ago rolled down the window and said the wind was strong

But you can change your coordinate system so that the car is still and the air is moving (mathematically)

And then it'd be wind. So why make that distinction?
