I was originally going to wait until I beat Bloodborne and maybe the ringed city dlc for DSIII but after playing ghost of tsushima, I said "fuck it" and bought sekiro.

I've been playing a decent amount, the last boss I beat was lady butterfly and I just beat seven spears, after getting my shit pushed in by him for almost an hour.

I am absolutely loving the gameplay. it's definitely tough but I haven't hit any walls yet or gotten frustrated. Every time I died, I just wanted to jump back into the battle right away. I'm also glad I haven't had to go through hell every time I had to retry a boss.

Can't wait to play later but am probably not prepared for how much more difficult the game might get

lady butterfly is typically the first wall players encounter, so if you handled her fine you should be fine for most of the game. also the first seven spears encounter was tough as nails, so if you beat him right away (instead of returning when you were stronger) that's impressive.

Its good. First playthrough is up there with DS1 and BB for how good it is. Replay value is sorely lacking compared to the others tho.

I think that I got Lady Butterfly on my first try, though.

I can't wait to face genichiro. my favorite feeling in a hard video game is when everything clicks and what I'm doing looks like a choreographed fight scene. That's what made me love ninja gaiden black

every boss I've just barely beat. I'm not super confident with the fighting system just yet but I am excited to keep going

There is a free update coming with cosmetic rewards for challenges and boss rush mode.

Eh. I got the plat at release and have had no desire to play again. The other From games I play through at least once a year. No multiplayer and no builds makes replay less appealing.

faced genichiro by accidentally going around the ashina elite and felt pretty good with the fight. am now getting absolutely whooped by the ashina elite since I want that prayer bead tho

Genichiro is the best boss fight in the game. It's about the halfway mark for difficulty of all boss fights I think.

If you beat him, you've got the basics definitely down.

Owl 2 is my favorite
